JUNIOR SCHOOL (NURSERY I – CLASS III)

Welcome to the Lower School, where we nurture the development of each child emotionally, academically, physically, socially and artistically every day. During these formative years, it is essential that children build a strong foundation of basic skills, a deep sense of self and an ability to contribute to a group while capitalizing on their innate curiosity about the world around them. Within a challenging curriculum, children are encouraged to take risks and allowed to make mistakes in a supportive environment, under the care of committed teachers. Our ultimate goal is to instill and maintain a sense of wonder, and excitement for learning, in all of our children, so they leave the Lower School full of eager anticipation for what’s to come.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (CLASS V – CLASS VIII)

We nurture the growth of the whole child academically, socially, physically and emotionally during what is typically the most difficult years (ages 10-14) of one's school life. During this stage of development, your child will encounter puberty, pre-adolescence, changes in brain chemistry and huge spurts of physical growth and maturation.

SENIOR SCHOOL (CLASS IX – CLASS XII)

Research skills, critical thinking, and strong writing skills are embedded throughout the curriculum and students experience an Active Learning environment through their high school experience. The students are not only guided according to the WBCHSE syllabus, they are also equipped to appear for the competitive examinations.

• Commerce
• Humanities
Most students participate in one or more varsity or junior varsity sports each year. Lyceean enjoys a rich tradition of athletic achievement.
